Adults and teens (ages 13+) are welcome to join us for a relaxing and fun craft night on Thursday, December 19th from 6:30-7:30. We will be making holiday/winter candle holders out of votive jars; snowflake ornaments; and wishing ornaments. There will also be cookies and hot chocolate to celebrate the season!
Registration is limited to 12 participant and begins December 1st.

Gingerbread Story Time (ages 3-5)

Run, run as fast as you can to the Torrington Library for this story time adventure! We will hear different gingerbread stories and decorate our own special gingerbread man!
In honor of the 150th Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, Trish Chambers will be returning to the Torrington Library to present, Civil War Women on Thursday, December 5th at 6;30pm. Registration for the event begins November 15th.
Performing in period costume Trish Chambers tells a story that takes the listener into the world of Civil War Women. A world that became more complex than knitting socks and baking bread. They were left behind to fend for themselves, to manage homes, businesses and plantations. Roles, which up until the war, that had been traditionally performed by men.
Make your own Christmas cards with Leah Ward on Thursday, December 12th at 6:00pm. This is perfect for younger teens through adults. Leah will provide all supplies. Come prepared to celebrate the season and make your loved one a special holiday card.
