Homeschooler's Science Fair March 2018!

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED! THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING.

Join us for our first ever Science Fair geared towards homeschooled children! 

Who: Homeschoolers all over CT (ages 6 and up)
Where: Community Room at the Torrington Library
When: Wednesday, March 21st
Timeline:
Set up: Noon—2:00pm
Fair: 2:00-6:00pm
Judging: 3:30-5:30pm
Clean Up: 6:00-7:00pm
 


​1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place winners for ages 6 to 8 and ages 9 and up!
Special Awards for Best Display and Most Creative for ages 6 to 8 and ages 9 and up!

Registration has begun! 


Join us for our fall story time sessions! Sign up for one of the sessions and prepare your child for Kindergarten! There will be fun crafts, stories, and games! If you join us for all 6 sessions you will receive a free book!!

​Purchase a ticket for a delicious Pasta Dinner at
Tony’s Westside Restaurant to benefit the
Torrington Library’s Children Room Mural
Tickets cost for adults (11 and up) $10.00
Children (3 to 10) $5.00

Includes pasta, meatballs, a salad and dessert!
 
This ticket can be used on any Thursday nights, from
March 2nd through March 30th.
 
All tickets can be purchased at the
 Torrington Library or Tony’s Westside Restaurant

Join us for LEGOs and Root Beer Floats! It is a walk in program for children ages 4 and up! 

We will be showing the LEGO movie while celebrating this day!

Read to a Librarian

Wednesdays, February 3rd-24th. 
 Time slots begin at 5:30 and go to 7:30, so reserve a 20 minute spot to read to either Ms. Jill or Ms. Jeni. This helps build reading skills, communication skills, and reading comprehension.
