(Virtual)Home Office Ergonomics W/ Maggie Downie

2/16/2026

Picture
Thursday, February 19th 6:30pm
Registration begins February 1st

Now that most of us are working from home (and so are our children and significant others)

our workplace may not be ideal. We may be sharing space with relatives or working on the
couch because it is the only space available.
Even in an ideal situation, working from home does not always come with the best
ergonomics. The sit-stand desk from the office is now a pile of boxes you stack and remove.
At home we may be creating an office out of our couch, bed, floor, dining room table, or a
desk if we are lucky.
In this workshop Maggie Downie from Personal Euphoria provides tips on how to make
your home office as ergonomic as possible. Tips and images reveal how to create different
positions throughout the day no matter what your work surface. We’ll show moves you can
do to relieve discomfort from unideal sitting situations. We’ll also review some of the
important basic guidelines of good ergonomics that will help limit and reduce pain during
your workday
