Summer Reading Kick-off:
Virtual Bubblemania! (ages 7 and up)
Monday, June 22nd at 6:30
Registration begins June 3rd

Join Casey from Bubblemania as he shows you cool tricks and you will even learn how to make the perfect bubble concoction! Bubblemania expects everyone to have the following items in front of them from the start of the session so they can start making bubbles right away.
 1. Bubble Liquid (store-bought OR the home-made formula shown below)
2. Pie Dish (or similar) 
3. Bendable Straw 
4. Bubble Wand (store-bought OR created from fuzzy wire)
5. A Towel 
 
Virtual Art Club (ages 6 to 10)
Thursdays, June 25th—July 9th at 4:30
Registration begins June 3rd

Curbside pick up for all the supplies you will need for this Art Club absolutely free! It will take place on Zoom and each week will be a different Art Project you will work on together.
 
Virtual Kosha for Kids (ages 4 to 10)
Friday, June 26th at 11:30
Registration begins June 3rd

Use your imagination and explore poses with your body as we act out stories. Hiss like a cobra, wag your tail like a dog, arch your back like a cat--you never know who we'll meet during class. Pickup a craft ahead of time during curbside pickup so we can end our practice with an activity together. Virtual Roll a Story (ages 7 to 12)
Tuesdays, June 30th—July 14th @ 11:00
Registration begins June 15th

There are SO MANY stories to tell, it can be overwhelming knowing where to start! That’s why we’re offering a ZOOM program to help you get your stories started! Program participants will use Roll-A-Story story-starters to build our stories each week – we will provide everything you need –  you will provide your imagination! We will create 2 different stories each week, which we will share during our ZOOM meeting. The library will provide the Roll-a-Story prompts (as well as a few Roll-a-Drawing sheets!), one die, some pencils, and a notebook for each participant, plus a weekly surprise! Items will be available Curbside Pick-Up! We will meet on three consecutive Tuesdays at 11:00 am on ZOOM.

Virtual LEGO Challenges (ages 6 to 10)
Mondays, July 6th-20th at 5:00
Registration begins June 22nd

Can you complete the challenges Ms. Jill gives you weekly? We’re offering a ZOOM program that will let you show off your building skills! Program participants will use their own LEGOs at home to build your challenges each week  We will create 2 different challenges each week, 15 minutes each challenge, and then we will share during our ZOOM meeting. We will meet on three consecutive Mondays at 5:00pm on ZOOM.
 
Virtual Sciencetellers (ages 4 and up)
Wednesday, July 8th at 6:00pm
Registration begins June 22nd

“Science and stories, together!” Join us for a virtual showing of a ScienceTellers program called “Dragons: Return of the Ice Sorceress.” The event will be hosted LIVE through Zoom on July 8th at 6:00pm! Watch a fun, fantasy adventure and along the way you’ll discover just how ‘cool’ matter can be! Throughout the showing, the host will answer questions, conduct polls/quizzes, and even teach a science experiment you can do at home.
 
Virtual Cartooning with Rick Stromoski (ages 6 to 10)
Wednesday, July 15th at 6:00pm
Registration begins June 22nd

Award winning cartoonist and humorous illustrator Rick Stromoski is offering a Virtual Cartooning class! This event is free to the public but registration is required!
 
Weekend Family Scavenger Hunt (all ages)
July 17th, 18th and 19th all weekend long
No registration required

Family fun! Explore our city and all the great things it has to offer! Go from place to place and gather and solve all the clues! You will be able to get your first clue Friday, July 17th between the hours of 9:30-1:30! You must call when you are at the Library and we will run out the clue! The first 10 to finish win a prize!
 
Pirate Week (all ages)
July 27th—31st
No Registration Required! 

Monday July 27th at 10:30: Wiggles and Giggles on Facebook Live with pirate songs and books plus our usual fun time!
Tuesday, July 28th at 10:30: Story Time adventures with craft!
Wednesday, July 29th at 10:30: Story Time adventures with craft!
Thursday, July 30th at 10:30: Ms. Jill and Ms. Sue will be tag teaming this fun event!
Friday, July 31st at 10:30: Special Guest Reader!!!!!

BINGO! (ages 6 to 10)
Wednesday, August 5th at 6:00pm
Registration begins July 20th

Join us for this classic game! We will play BINGO virtually on ZOOM. You will be able to print out your cards at home!
