Room Rental Policy
Torrington Library encourages public use of meeting rooms as gathering places to exchange ideas, access and share information and participate in programs created for public enjoyment, public education and civic engagement.
Rooms are currently available only during library hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday 10am-6pm
Wednesday and Thursday 10am-8pm
Saturday 10am-3pm
Please be aware that all events must end 15 minutes before the library building closed.

Community RoomThe Torrington Savings Bank Community Room is the ideal setting for corporate meetings, small functions, private parties and more! The room seats 115 for lectures and up to 36 for a seated event. The room is 1,176 square feet of usable space!

Rental requests are being processed daily and the calendar is being updated frequently. Please complete the request form below for up-to-the-minute availability.
Please be aware that all events must end 15 minutes before the library building closed. Please allow yourself able time to set-up and breakdown when you book a block of rental time.
Renters are responsible for set-up and breakdown of rooms. Library representatives are not available to help with set-up and breakdown.
Chairs and tables are already in the rented space.
The library does not promote or advertise events put on by renters.
