Curbside Pickup

Here's how it works:
  • Place your order by using the online form at the bottom of this page.
  • We will notify you when your materials are ready.
  • Call when you get to the library and park near the outdoor book return near the staff entrance of the building. We will bring your items out to you.

Our Curbside Policy
  • To request library materials complete the electronic form below. Only electronic requests will be accommodated at this time. 
  • You must have a valid Torrington Library card to use this service. If you do not have a card, click here to apply: Library Card Signup Page. Once you receive your card, you can begin to use Curbside Pickup. 
  • ​Limit to six (6) items per order (DVD limit of 3 per library card is still in effect). 
  • Please be sure to check our Catalog before requesting an item.  
  • We will make every effort to fulfill your request based on item availability. 
  • We will contact you to let you know that your materials are ready. You can pickup during library operating hours.
  • Please call 860.489.6684 when you arrive and we'll bring the books out to you. 
  • ​Items can be returned in the Book Drop. 
  • You may return items during a pick-up. 
  • Requested materials must be picked up within 3 days of your order confirmation. If materials are not picked up they will be put back into circulation for someone else to enjoy.
