The tour can be tailored to meet all ages and learning levels.
We recommend tours of 20 participants or fewer. We can set-up multiple tour times to accommodate larger groups.
Tours cover the following:
- History of the 159 year-old Library and its founders, many of which are significant Torrington figures;
- Highlighting historic, architectural features of the current Library building on Litchfield Street;
- Exploring the new library building and collection;
- Viewing the library's historical artifacts, including items from the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, John Brown Memorabilia and letters, The Holley Gun Collection, The Coe Glass Collection, The Deborah Goldwaithe International Doll Collection, and much more.
