Time for Tots (Ages birth-2) from 11:00-11:30
*No registration required! Walk in program!
A chance for children to sing, dance, socialize and play

Spy Night (Ages 9-12) from 7:00-8:30pm
Registration begins March 23rd
Grab your mustaches and your detective hats and join Ms. Jill and Ms. Jeni for a night you will not forget. We will use fun ideas from the book Spy School by Stuart Gibbs and bring them to life. It is a library wide program, with fun activities and lots of sleuthing! Start your Spring Break off on a crime fighting adventure!

Tuesday, April 14th

Tech Tuesday (Teen-Adult)
Registration begins April 1st
Visit the library and learn how to use all of our fun online resources! Workshops are:

· PowerKnowledge Life Science 2:00-2:45--Great for busy caregivers of students grades 3-6.  This       resource offers science projects, homework help, and more.

· StarWalk KidsMedia and eBooks 3:00-3:45--Great for caregivers and parents of children ages birth-12 who want to learn how do download FREE books.

· Databases for the Busy Student 4:00-5:00--Great for students in Middle School, High School, and College. Provides a comprehensive overview on how to use our databases like iCONN

Thursday, April 16th

Coffee, Donuts & a Movie: Into the Woods at 6:00pm
Registration begins April 1st
Join us as we journey Into the Woods! A witch tasks a childless baker and his wife with procuring magical items from classic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree. This star-studded cast delivers magical performances in this classic musical adaptation on the Broadway show. Rated PG / 124 Minutes

Magic Story Time (ages 4-7) from 6:30-7:00
Registration begins March 23rd
Abracadabra! Ms. Jeni will teach a few fun tricks, read stories, and make a fun craft!
 
Friday, April 17th

Performer Showcase at UCONN Torrington
From 9:30am-4:00pm / Registration $10.00
Join the Torrington Library, UCONN Torrington, and ACT as they team up to present a place for performers to showcase their unique talents to event planners and  coordinators!

Saturday, April 18th

Marble Run Mania (ages 7-12) at 1:30pm
Registration begins March 23rd
Get your hard hats ready, because we are going to construct our own marble maze! Whose marble can get to the finish line fastest!? This is a program you do not want to miss!

Into the Woods

As the result of the curse of a once-beautiful witch (Meryl Streep), a baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt) are childless. Three days before the rise of a blue moon, they venture into the forest to find the ingredients that will reverse the spell and restore the witch's beauty: a milk-white cow, hair as yellow as corn, a blood-red cape, and a slipper of gold. During their journey, they meet Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack, each one on a quest to fulfill a wish.
