Thursday, April 28th at 6:00pm Registration begins April 1st Written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Kenneth Branagh, Belfast is a poignant story of love, laughter and loss in one boy's childhood, amid the music and social tumult of the late 1960s. Buddy's family lives in a largely Protestant district with a few Catholic families but one day his community and everything he thought he understood about life is suddenly turned upside down. Buddy's family gets caught in the mayhem and must decide to stay or leave the only place they have ever called home. Through it all, his passionate parents (Caitríona Balfe and Jamie Dornan) and quick-witted grandparents (Academy Award®-winner Judy Dench and Ciarán Hinds) keep the joy alive through music and the magic of movies in this feel-good story that reminds us that no matter how far you go, you never forget where you came from. 98 Min/PG 13. We will have tables and chairs set-up just like an old fashioned dinner theater! You can bring anything from a sandwich, to sushi, to a take-out meal from your favorite restaurant. Registration begins March 15th Join the Wild Women Coffee gals as they explore the history of everyone’s favorite hot drink! What regions do coffee beans grow? How do you roast the beans to produce the best coffee flavor? How can you read labels to insure a better cup of joe? They answer all of these questions and more! They finish the program with a blind “cupping” (taste test). Participants are able to taste a selection of coffees and based on their attributes, guess what their regions of origin are. They also will offer a “coffee dessert bar” which features servings of freshly brewed coffee (including decaf), chocolate-bomb coffee (cup of hot coffee with Lindt chocolate truffle dropped in), and gourmet baked goods. |
