Who: Homeschoolers all over CT (ages 6 and up) Where: Community Room at the Torrington Library When: Wednesday, March 21st Timeline: Set up: Noon—2:00pm Fair: 2:00-6:00pm Judging: 3:30-5:30pm Clean Up: 6:00-7:00pm 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place winners for ages 6 to 8 and ages 9 and up! Registration begins November 1st Join John Root as he explores the amazing world of crop circles. See complex and exquisite designs that are found annually in farmers' fields. Learn about their unexplained effects on soil, plants, animals, and people. Discover the messages that are encoded in the formations and discuss the possible identity and motives of their creators. Registration begins October 15th Release your inner child! Join Christine Peyreigne, President and Founder of Christine’s Critters, Inc, for an interactive program where you she will introduce you to amazing, rescued birds of prey and reptiles and talk about the dangers they face in the wild. Did we mention that Christine is going to BRING LIVE ANIMALS with her that evening?! While the birds of prey cannot be handled by the public, you can have a chance to pet her array or reptiles. Registration begins October 15th! For teens and adults. Register today!  Register for an individual 15 minute time slot and chat with genealogist, Richard Pope about your family history! Please call the library beginning October 15th for available time slots. Online registration is not available.

Wednesdays October 4th through November 8th Or Thursdays October 5th through November 9th Registration has begun! Join us for our fall story time sessions! Sign up for one of the sessions and prepare your child for Kindergarten! There will be fun crafts, stories, and games! If you join us for all 6 sessions you will receive a free book!! |
