Good morning, I would like to issue and additional update to you, our library patrons regarding COVID-19. As a purely preventative and precautionary measure, we are cancelling all public events, outreach initiatives, and public room rentals immediately through April 5th. To ensure that our limited staff can maintain a sanitized environment for you to enjoy, we put in place the additional following precautions:

Living Large in a Small House Thursday, April 2nd at 6:30 Registration begins March 15th Join author, Sheri Koones as she talks about her new book, "Downsize! Living large in a small house". Sheri will describe some of the aspects that make a small house feel bigger and show lots of examples of these beautiful houses. She will also speak about what can be done in building or remodeling that can help to create a beautiful forever-home. BYOD and a Movie: Knives Out Thursday, April 30th at 6:00pm Registration begins April 1st When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey dies just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc arrives at his estate to investigate. From Harlan's dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Thrombey's untimely demise. PG 13 / 2hr 10min We will have tables and chairs set-up just like an old fashioned dinner theater! We will also have popcorn and beverages available! You can bring anything from a sandwich, to sushi, to a take-out meal from your favorite restaurant! Introduction to Guitar Workshop

Join Joe and Mike Hodorski as they share over 50 years’ experience playing guitar with you. Participants must bring their own guitar and have a basic knowledge of how to play. Limited to 20 participants. Thursday, April 16th at 6:30 Registration begins April 1st "Spooky Trails and Tall Tales Connecticut" is Stephen Olbrys Gencarella new book on hiking places in the state associated with folklore. This fascinating talks includes storytelling from Connecticut folklore, as well as explanation and analysis of the tales. As a professional folklorist, Stephen is always grateful to meet with the public and to hear their stories; which are invaluable opportunities to discover new tales and their variants that deserve attention...perhaps for a follow up book. Just in time to get out an explore all that beautiful CT has to offer this Spring and Summer. Thursday, May 7, 14, and 21 at 6:00pm Registration begins April 1st Join Collette Hurst as she hosts a three week pastel flower drawing workshop! Collette will provide the supplies, with an option to purchase additional supplies if desired. The workshop is limited to 15 people. There is a workshop fee of $15.00 total, per person for for the three-week workshop. Fee is due at time of registration and is non-refundable.
