 The library is pleased to announce that they will be opening a used bookstore this summer on 21 Main Street! With the support of the Torrington Downtown Partners, the bookstore will be open June 11th through August 27th and will sell a large variety of print and non print materials.
The bookstore hours are: Thursday and Friday 1:00-6:00 Saturday 9:00-12:00 Special hours during Main Street Marketplace will be Thursdays from 5:00-9:00! Volunteers are needed to help work the shop. The Library is pleased to announce that we now have the Norman Rockwell Museum Pass! The Torrington Library Pass offers museum admission for 2 people at a discount of $10 each! Children 5 and under are FREE!
Norman Rockwell Museum presents the world's largest collection of original Norman Rockwell art, including beloved paintings from The Saturday Evening Post and the Four Freedoms, and the best in the field of American illustration. Experience Rockwell's art, life and legacy in the artist's picturesque New England hometown of Stockbridge, Massachusetts nestled in the culturally rich Berkshires. 10:00am-6:00pm - Monday, Tuesday, Friday 10:00am-8:00pm - Wednesday & Thursday 10:00am-3:00pm - Saturday 10:00am-1:00pm - Saturday July/August Only The Children's Room closes 15 minutes before the rest of the library. The public computers shut down 30 minutes before the rest of the library. Thank you! |
