The first annual Litchfield Hills Creative Festival is Saturday, August 14th in downtown Torrington. Organized by the NWCT Arts Council in collaboration with local arts organizations and artists.

The Creative Festival will celebrate the abundance of creative energy in the Northwest corner. There will be artist vendors on Franklin Plaza, and live music & performances in Coe Park (sponsored by Red Room Sound Studio & the Warner Theatre). There will be creative activities for all ages!

Free & open to the public. Rain date: Saturday, August 21st.

• Sidewalk Chalk Art- Kids of all ages can get creative with sidewalk chalk on our front walkway facing Coe Park!
• Arts Station Sponsored by Stylee Studio- Check out this pop-art art station, run by the NEW Stylee Studio, a place for all ages to be creative!
• Free Craft Giveaways- Look through our supply of grab-and-go crafts for all ages! Get in touch with your creative side with these easy, DIY  packages.
• Indoor Book Sale- Stop into the library and cool off while browsing through out Used Book Nook.  Buy a recycled  library bag for $5.00 and fill it for free!
• Taste of Torrington Guidebooks for Sale- Stop on by and pick up your copy of our 2021 Taste of  Torrington Guidebook! On sale for $30.00.We’ll also have other fun library swag for sale!
• Meet the Author- Author Aerin Bergheart will be setup on our front lawn to discuss and sell his latest YA novel, Learning to Swim! Stop by to chat and purchase this engaging and magical coming-of-age fantasy that delivers a fresh twist on the standard Mermaid myths and lore.
