Kid's Events for July and August

Children's events are in full swing at the library this summer.  Join us for events that include everything form lego clubs, to a visit from Daisy the Pig, and a Dino Dig!  To register for any of the events below, please call the library at 860.489.6684. 

LEGO Club (ages 6-12)
Registration begins June 24th
Create fun masterpieces out of Legos! Meets every Monday for 3 weeks (July 15th, 22nd, and 29th) from 4:00-5:00 pm

Having Fun with Fossils and Dinosaurs (ages 4 and up)
Tuesday, July 16th at 4:00
Registration begins June 24th
Hear stories from a five foot tall story book, explore 100 specimens, and learn about  fossils

Radical Rainstick Special (ages 6-10)

Make classic rain sticks and listen to the beautiful sounds they make!

BINGO (ages 6-12)

Play this classic game and win all sorts of fun prizes!

Superhero Story Time (ages 3-6)

Come dressed up as a superhero and hear fun stories about superheroes! Join us for crafts and a game as well!

Dig Into Reading Bookmark Special (ages 6-12)
Wednesday, July 24th from 6:00-7:00 pm

Dig into Reading by creating bookmarks!

The Art Truck (ages 6 and up)
Saturday, July 27th from 11:00-12:00

Create pre-historic robots inside the Art Truck!

Fairy Princess Story Time (ages 3-6)

Transform into a Fairy Princess an join us for this special! We will hear stories, make wands, and create our own fairy wings!

Busy Little Ants (ages 3-5)

Join us for a picnic and hopefully we won't get any pesky ants on our blankets! Hear stories about ants and picnics! Feel free to bring your own lunch!

Daisy the Pig (ages 4 and up)
Saturday, August 3rd at 11:00

Join Farmer Minor and Daisy the Pig to end our Summer Reading Program! Hear real stories about the famous pig!
